The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, emphasized the need to support civil society organizations and to benefit from their capacities, indicating that some of these organizations are able to assume great responsibilities that contribute in easing the state’s burden.
This came when His Eminence received in his Baghdad office on Wednesday, 14/8/2013, members of the Iraqi Center for Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills.
From their part, members of the Center affirmed that their visit to Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim is due to His Eminence’s deep personality, always calling for peace and considering dialogue a way to solve conflicts. They briefed His Eminence on the Center’s activities and future work plans.
