The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed the need to commit to the electoral program of the Citizen bloc in the Provincial Councils and to work on implementing it with all available resources, calling everyone to join efforts in order to promote the services in the provinces and indicating that provincial councils are service councils and thus must be taken away from the political tensions.
This came when his Eminence was meeting members of the Citizen Bloc in provincial councils in his office in Baghdad on Monday, 19/8/2013. 
His Eminence called Citizen Bloc members in provincial councils to communicate with people, listen to their concerns and problems and make efforts to solve them, stressing the need to make the public interest prevail and to prioritize foremost the service of the citizen.
