    During a Visit by the Korean Ambassador, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Confirms the Importance of Taking Advantage of the South Korean Expertise in Building and Construction


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim confirmed the importance of taking advantage of the Korean expertise in building and construction, stressing the importance of developing the relations between both countries so as to cover the cultural, scientific and other aspects.
    This came during a visit paid by Hyun-Myung Kim, the ambassador of South Korea to Iraq, to Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, in his office in Baghdad Thursday, August 22, 2013.
    During the meeting, both sides discussed the relations between the Supreme Council and the Korean intellectual and cultural institutions, as well as the contribution of the Korean companies in the building and reconstruction of the country, where the Korean ambassador confirmed the support of his country and its contribution to the reconstruction of Iraq and the execution of the construction and service projects.
