    During his Meeting with Basra Governor, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Says Officials Must Knock the Citizens' Door, not Vice-versa

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of communication between officials and citizens, and that officials knock the citizens' door to be familiar with their problems and find the possible solutions, urging the local government in Basra to provide services and support the province citizens, especially the needy categories.
    This came during a visit by Basra governor, Majid Annasrawi, to his Eminence in his office in Baghdad, Saturday, 14/9/2013.
    For his part, the Basra governor said during his meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, they discussed the security situations and the plans conceived to provide the province citizens with services such as electricity, water, housing and infrastructure, as well the situations in the region
