    In His Meeting with the Committee of Advisors for Basra Province, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stressed the Need to identify Priorities in Implementing Projects


    The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed the need to identify priorities in discussing and implementing projects, underlining the importance of implementing immediate projects that citizens could see, in addition to strategic projects that could enhance the citizens’ confidence in officials in charge of their service.
    This came when His Eminence was meeting the committee of advisors for Basra on Thursday, 26/9/2013.
    His Eminence expressed his gratitude to the committee and praised their efforts, underlining the need to benefit from the competent citizens of Basra and to recover the immigrant capacities. He also affirmed the importance of strategic planning and clear vision, calling on officials to go to the field and follow on the implementation, indicating that the reform process regarding the issue of corruption starts from the top, in particular with honest officials and their teams.
