The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, called to communicate with the people and invest the political and social privileges for the service of the citizens of Basra. This came when His Eminence was meeting members of the Martyr of the Niche movement in Basra on Thursday 26/9/2013.
His Eminence stressed the need to communicate with all political forces, while bearing in mind that “We Do Not Deserve to Represent a People That We Cannot Serve”. He also indicated the importance of getting prepared for the coming elections, of supporting the local government and explaining the Martyr of Niche’s project at the national and local levels to the people. His Eminence finally called to adopt the door-to-door policy with citizens and thus get closer to them and to maintain the identity of the movement.
