During the Mourning Assembly, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stresses that Hussein (AS) Chose Iraq for He Knew that it Will Preserve his Blood
The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed that Imam Hussein chose Iraq for he knew that it will preserve his bloed because the Iraqi people is all feelings and emotions. If the battle of Karbala were somewhere else, the blood of Hussein (AS) would have gone in vain. His Eminence explained that this is the analysis of the Martyr of the Niche (May Allah Sanctify his soul), adding that Iraq is going through trials to prepare it for playing great historical roles that need scrutinizing, screening and building. He underlined that the cause of Imam Hussein and his project is not personal, and whoever holds the divine project does not hold the project of corruption and decay. This came during the 10th night of Muharram in the mourning assembly held at the office of his Eminence in Baghdad, Wednesday 13/11/2013. His Eminence mentioned how millions of followers of the Martyr of the Niche marched, on the 9th of Muharram, in 14 provinces to commemorate this occasion and follow the lead of the Martyr of the Niche and Aziz Al Iraq (May Allah sanctify their souls). He finally indicated that Husseinis are insightful and that there is no spot on earth where Hussein is not mentioned and where a tear is not shed on his soul.
