On Thursday, 28/11/2013, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, had a meeting in his office in Baghdad with Mr. Rostam Ghasemi, the head of the Iraq-Iran Economic Relations Committee at the office of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iraq and the accompanying delegation. His Eminence discussed with Mr. Ghasemi the contribution of Iranian companies to the reconstruction of infrastructures and development of the Iraqi economy and the trade between both countries on many levels, hoping that the sound Iranian institutions and companies help develop and reconstruct the Iraqi provinces.
For his part, Mr. Ghasemi said the Iranian companies are willing to contribute to the reconstruction of infrastructures and develop the way the Iraqi institutions achieve their works, with their technical skills and capacities in different fields. During a press conference following the meeting, the technical and technological advance of the companies of his country enables them to act very competitively in the business market in a way that ensures a technical and technological collaboration that serves both friend countries. Among the members of the delegation was the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Hassan Danaifar, as well as a number of Iranian economic consultants.
