The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed the need to establish appropriate mechanisms for easing the suffering of the citizens of Basra resulting from the floods, highlighting the importance of developing plans and projects that address the problems of citizens in the areas of education, health and others.
This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim was receiving the governor of Basra Majid Al Nasrawi in his office in Baghdad, Monday 2/12/2013.
From his part, the governor of Basra affirmed following Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim’s directions on going to the field and learning up close about the problems of citizens. He also informed His Eminence of the big-scale plans and projects adopted by the provincial council for the service of the citizens in various areas.
The two sides also discussed the coming parliamentary elections and the mechanism for choosing competent and loyal persons.
