In his Meeting with Al Nujayfi, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Importance of National Unity in Countering Terrorism
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of preserving national unity to face terrorism, indicating that terrorist organizations target everyone as well as Iraq’s democratic experience.
This came in a meeting between the Iraqi Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Ussama Al Nujayfi and his Eminence in the latter's office in Baghdad on Monday, January 6, 2014.
Both sides discussed the political developments in Iraq and the region as well as the regional situation and the significant laws projected for the legislation at the parliament.
