    In His Meeting with the Director of the Sunni Religious Endowments Authority in the Southern Region, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stresses the Need to Build the State and its Institutions

     
    The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed the need to build the State and its institutions and not to build the authority, highlighting the significance of launching an administrative revolution at all levels.
    This came when His Eminence was receiving in his Baghdad office on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, the director of the Sunni religious endowments authority in the southern region, Sheikh Abdel Karim al-Khazraji, and a number of clerics and tribe leaders from the region.
    His Eminence also underlined the importance of maintaining the Iraqi unity and strengthening national cohesion, assuring that terrorist crimes will only increase the unity and cohesion among Iraqis.
    From his part, the director of the Sunni endowments authority indicated Basra’s need for the efforts and follow-up of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim to ensure the advancement of the province in various areas, stressing the importance of everyone’s collaboration to counter terrorists and Takfiris and achieve security and stability in the country.
