The United States Voices its Support for Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's initiative for Anbar's crisis
The US deputy assistant of Secretary for Iraq reiterated the support of the United Nations for Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's initiative for the situation of Anbar, renewing the support of his country for the operations intended to eradicate the terrorists in the province and the nearby regions.
This came during a meeting held between his Eminence in his office in Baghdad on Saturday, January 11, 2014 with the US deputy assistant of Secretary for Iraq, Mr. Brett Mcgurk.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries, and the political and security situations in the country, particularly in Anbar, as well as the regional situation.
