Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Receives New Japanese Ambassador to Iraq
The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, received the Japanese ambassador to Iraq Kazuya Nashida in his office in Baghdad, on Thursday February 13, 2014.
The two sides discussed the situation in Iraq, the region and the world. His Eminence highlighted the strong relationships between Iraq and Japan, stressing the importance of Japan’s role in the reconstruction if Iraq.
From his part, Japanese ambassador reiterated his country’s support of the political process and of reinforcing its relationship with Iraq, underlining the Japanese companies’ desire to contribute in Iraq’s reconstruction.
