    Receiving His Election Identification Card, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: Elections Are a National Obligation, They Will Define the Features of the Team that Will Lead the Country Throughout the Coming Phase


    The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, assured that elections are a national task and represent the spirit of the democratic process, explaining that participation in elections is a national obligation as they will define the features of the team that will lead the country for the coming four years.
    His Eminence called, when receiving his electronic election card at a distribution center on Monday, February 24, 2014, citizens throughout Iraq, especially citizens of the beloved capital Baghdad, to hurry up and receive their election card so they can express their will to rectify the paths of the country, stressing the need for a large participation in the elections so as to contribute in selecting their representatives in the parliament and the following government in charge of running the country in the coming phase.
    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim had received, in the electoral center, the head of the electoral department, Meqdad al-Sharifi and a number of officials in the electoral commission.
