    In His Meeting with the Sheikhs and Leaders of Al Wahda District, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls to Support and Hold on to the Authority’s Vision in the Coming Elections


    The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, called to hold on to the authority’s approach and support its visions in the coming elections, indicating that all components of the Iraqi people are keen on the country’s reconstruction and stability and that coexistence, tolerance and breadth of mind are important pillars for the Iraqi people’s resistance of the blind terrorism.
    This came when His Eminence was meeting a group of sheikhs, leaders and elites from Al Wahda district, in his office in Baghdad, on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
    His Eminence highlighted that the blood of innocent Iraqis is turning into an inundation sinking terrorism and everyone involved in shedding innocent Iraqi blood, stressing that the coming parliamentary elections will define Iraq’s path for the following years. He added that the Citizen Bloc has prepared a global program to develop the Iraqi provinces in different areas, reiterating that an appropriate team with a clear vision of the State’s management is the element of success in the construction and stability of the country.
    From their part, the sheikhs and leaders of Al Wahda district expressed their appreciation of the efforts and role of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim in enhancing national unity and leading Iraq towards development through the global programs developed by the Citizen Bloc.
