    During his Meeting with the Third Rasafa Organizations for the Martyr of the Niche Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Warns Against Not Participating in the Coming Elections


    The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, warned against not participating in the coming elections, calling voters to get the voting card as a first step to participate in the process of change wanted by the electoral process. He stressed the need to commit to the instructions of the religious authority and to promote the services provided to Iraqi citizens who went through hell in the areas of health, education and services.
    This came during his eminence’s meeting with the third Rasafa organizations for the Martyr of the Niche movement in Baghdad, on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
    His eminence considered that the conference of Baghdad to fight terrorism is a step towards the right direction, maintaining that terrorism should be countered according to a security vision and clear plans that take into account the socioeconomic dimension of the security problems. He also warned against the deterioration of the situation in the regions of Baghdad belt if no corrective measures are taken, calling on the political forces to send reassurance messages to one another and build trust, and to stay away from accusations of treachery and political defamation.  His eminence indicated that the Martyr of the Niche movement has an integrated vision for building the State based on a clear program to be announced very soon, calling on the third Rasafa organizations to double their efforts in serving the people and explaining their program. Sayyid Al Hakim finally assured that change for the best is in the hand of Iraqi voters, who have to use this opportunity instead of wasting it and then crying over spilt milk.
