Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of developing the Iraqi football talents, calling for supporting the football schools and the institutions involved with the cultivation of the talents, showing that Iraq is known for its diverse talents in all fields. He also underlined the importance of cultivating and taking advantage of them since they are the core of the community structure. This came during a visit by his Eminence to the Specialized Cultivation Center for Football Talents in the complex of the Al Shaab International Itadium in Baghdad on Friday, March 21, 2013. His Eminence pointed out to the advancement of the communities and their reliance on the skills as well as to their support and cultivation, considering the cultivation of the talents as the best investment since it invests in the human being. He explained that the sport and the football game teach many important human lessons such as focusing on the goal regardless whoever scores the this goal, as well as working in a team spirit and acceptance of the loss with sportsmanship. For their part, the supervisors of the specialized center said the visit of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim is an important motivation for the young football players since they make them feel the attention given to them, that hopes are placed on them and that they are supported.
