    In a Meeting with Sheikhs and Prominent Figures of Zuheiri Tribe, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Praises the Role of Tribes in Resolving the Conflicts and the Social and Security Problems


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said the tribe is source of power and a pillar to build the society, as it is about commitment to the Arab and Islamic norms and values, praising the role of tribes in resolving the conflicts and the social and security problems.
    This came during a meeting between Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and the sheikhs and prominent figures of the Zuheiri tribe, in his office in Baghdad on March 27, 2014.
    His Eminence pointed out to the power and success elements in the country, explaining that the wealh and the intellectual capacities of Iraq and its strategic geographic location as well as its civilization and history represent sources of power to build, develop and reconstruct Iraq. He also said Al Muwattin Movement put in place an studied practical program to build Iraq for the next four years based on a global, well-defined vision that bring solutions to the problems which hinder the building and progress of Iraq, calling on the tribal sheikhs and prominent figures to incite their sons to widely participate in the next elections and choose the skillful and honest candidates.
    For their part, the tribal sheikhs and prominent figures appreciated Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim’s attention and follow-up of their affairs and his care for the unity and solidarity of all Iraqis of all components.
