Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses Latest Developments and Coming Elections With the Representative of the United Nations Secretary General
The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, received in his office in Baghdad on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014, the representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Iraq Nikolai Mladenov. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments and the political process in Iraq, as well as the coming elections. His eminence stressed the need to hold the elections on time, calling all political blocs again to compete honorably and stay away from the language of insults, while presenting electoral programs that provide solutions to citizens and not just display the problems.
