    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with the Ambassador of Sweden How to Develop the Bilateral Relations between both Countries

     
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, maintained that Iraq seeks to develop its relations with the Kingdom of Sweden, in a way that guarantees the common interests of both sister countries and peoples in all areas, stressing the need of the new Iraq for the support of the friend countries in the field of reconstruction and development so that the country advances towards a better future.
    This came during a meeting held between his Eminence, in his office in Baghdad, and the ambassador of Sweden in Iraq, Mr. Jörgen Lindström, on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
     
    For his part, the Swedish ambassador congratulated his Eminence for the end of the last elections and the commitment of the Iraqi people to the democratic choice to shape a bright future for its country.
