Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received his Excellency the British ambassador to Baghdad, Simon Paul Collis, and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways to develop them, so as to ahiceve the common interests of the two friend countries and peoples.
In the meeting held with the British ambassador in his eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq called British companies to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq and to participate in the projects currently implemented in the country.
For his part, ambassador Collis congratulated the Iraqi people for the success of the parliamentary elections, hoping for the formation of a government that would achieve the wishes of the Iraqi people and the development of relations with other countries.
