Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Receives the US Ambassador, Mr. Stephen Beecroft
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Thursday, May 8, 2014 the US ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Beecroft.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the political situation in Iraq and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between both countries. For his part, his Eminence stressed the need to form a government that can take Iraq out of its security and political crisis, armed with a clear vision and a harmonious, consistent team.
