Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the need to put more effort into advancing the services provided to the citizens, underlining the importance of implementing the platform of the citizens’ coalition with all available means. This came during his meeting with Citizen Bloc members of local governments, on Monday, May 12, 2014.
His eminence called on the Citizen Bloc to communicate with the people and visit the field, as well as to communicate with and open to the remaining political blocs, reiterating the call to grant local government their full constitutional mandates.
