Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in his office in Baghdad with the deputy prime minister, Mr. Saleh al-Mutlaq.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the situation in the country and the next elections. His Eminence said they discussed the future horizons for the rule of the country based on the clear platform and vision in order to get over the failures and crises, maintaining that the harmonious team can work in collaboration and provide services to the people. He also said the deliberations between the political powers contribute to a mature united vision.
Moreover, his Eminence noted that the National Alliance is careful to organize the national house and the national arena, and extends a hand of love and cooperation to all the partners on the Iraqi national scene, and that a common vision is about to be crystallized to build a national government that changes the courses and how things are performed and achieves the ambitions of the Iraqi citizens. 
For his part, Mr. Al-Mutlaq indicated that he had a positive meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim that has a true national vision and that everyone is looking for a real project that reassures the Iraqis that the democratic process proceeds properly.
