    In His Meeting With Dr. Hussain Al Shahristani, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim Says The Iraqis Did What They Should Do And The Political Blocs Must Crown Such Move With Responsible Acts


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, says the Iraqi people did what it should do by widely participating in the elections and the winning blocs must assume their responsibilities in this regard,  adding that the winning blocs must crown these responsible positions with responsible acts by providing the right security and service environments.
    This came during the press conference held following his meeting with Dr. Hussain Al Shahristani, head of the independent bloc and a number of the bloc's leaderships in Baghdad on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
    His Eminence maintained that the harmonious strong team and the clear platform to run the state can bring the strong partners together, which would make it easy to form the consistent harmonious team, clearly assume its responsibilities and provide the necessary services for all Iraqis.
    For his part, Dr. Hussain Al Shahristani expressed his deep appreciation for the persistent initiatives of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, his meeting with the winning political blocs, his deliberation on the general political affairs as well as his role in reuniting the Iraqis, overcoming the past crises and addressing the problems the citizens face, stressing the importance of promoting the national unity between the national components and agreeing on a well defined platform that serves the citizens and competently run the state institutions.
