Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, praised the  Iraqi citizens for their wide and conscious participation in the last elections and their overcoming of all difficulties and crises, explaining that this determination and courage of Iraqis in challenging terrorism and participating in the elections are due to the awareness of the political bodies to the sensitive, serious  conditions the nation is going through.
This came during a visit rendered by the parliamentary delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iraq to his Eminence in his office in Baghdad, Monday May 19, 2014.
For his part, the delegation congratulated the wide participation of the Iraqi people in the last democratic epic, saying the Islamic Republic of Iraq is interested in building stronger relations  with Iraq in different areas.
