Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Receives Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha
The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, received in his office in Baghdad, on Sunday, June 1st, 2014, Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha along with the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the political developments in Iraq and the security situation in the province of Anbar. His eminence called everyone to join efforts to get Iraq out of its security and political crises and provide services to the Iraqis, stressing the need to form a government that is reassuring for everybody. He also underlined the importance of forming a strong homogeneous team to run the country in the coming phase.
For his part, Sheikh Abu Risha praised Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim’s efforts aiming at gathering all political parties around the table of dialogue and launching tension-relieving initiatives like “Our Resisting Anbar”.
