    In his Meeting with Mr. al-Amiri, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Says the National Alliance Is the Shelter We Seek and the Citizen's Coalition Works on Institutionalizing It


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of turning the national alliance into efficient institution, describing it as the shelter all its components seek and stressing the importance of taking advantage of the past experience. He also underlined the necessity of addressing the problems, saying it is vital to run competent persons and to monitor their performance in the next stage, while confirming the importance of national unity and the formation of a harmonious team that acts according to a well-defined program and a clear vision to run the State.
    This came during a meeting between his Eminence on Sunday, June 1, 2014, in his office in Baghdad and the head of Badr organization, Mr. Hadi al-Amiri.
    For his part, Mr. al-Amiri maintained that his vision is in agreement with that of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim in turning the national alliance into an efficient institution that works according to a well-defined program and a clear vision, saying the national alliance must reach out to everyone.
