In a meeting held in his office in Baghdad on Monday, June 9th, 2014, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed the regional developments and ways to strengthen relations between the two friend countries and peoples of Egypt and Iraq with the Egyptian assistant ministry of foreign affairs, Nasser Kamel. His eminence highlighted the need for Egypt to play a pioneer role at the Arab and Islamic level.
For his part, Kamel praised the visions of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim regarding the situation in Iraq and the region, indicating that these visions are aligned to a large extent with the Egyptian vision.
