The director of the Middle East Department with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared his country's support of Iraq in fighting terrorism, renewing the intention of his country to contribute to the accomplishment of the reconstruction and development projects in Iraq.
This came in a meeting held between his Eminence in his office in Baghdad, on Monday, June 30, 2014 and Mr. Jean Francois, director of the Middle East Department with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they discussed the developments in the country.
For his part, his Eminence said Iraq can overcome the political and security problems it faces by strengthening the partnership between the great powers and forming a harmonious government with well-defined vision.
