Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, assured that no matter how high-ranked someone gets he should not abandon the members of his tribe and country, and that whoever does that is the biggest loser. His eminence stressed that modesty, cooperation and expression of love give positive messages to the people so that they can be a support in hard times.
This came in his eminence’s speech delivered on the second Ramadan evening gathering held in his office in Baghdad on Monday, June 30, 2014.
His eminence highlighted that a person should be of help to his brother because no matter how much money, esteem and children a human has, he cannot dispense with the citizens as they are his real support. He added that a human, being emotional, carries feelings that he cannot renounce like the affiliation to the tribe, to the country and to the community because he needs the affection and reverence of others. His eminence finally mentioned in the gathering the principles of supplication and the ways to strengthen one’s relationship with Allah through supplication, as well as the need to invocate for the brothers, friends and believers for that entails the fulfillment of the demand in life and the reward in the Hereafter.
