Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses Political and Security Development with Mladenov
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, NikolayMladenov, the latest security and political developments in the country in his eminence’s office in Baghdad on Sunday, July 6, 2014.
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim assured that the Takfiri terrorist attack will be confronted and that the land of Iraq will be purified from the impurity of aggressors such as Daesh and others, underlining the political forces’ eagerness to accelerate the nomination of the candidates for the three leaderships and the government formation.
For his part, Mr. Mladenov highlighted the international organization’s support to Iraq in its war against terrorism.
