    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: The Visit of the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs is a Positive Message Indicating the Reestablishment of Integral Relations Between the Two Countries


    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, assured that the visit paid by the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs to Iraq is an indication of the reestablishment of integral relations between Iraq and Egypt, stressing the need for Iraq and Egypt to play their pioneer and historic role.
    This came when his eminence was receiving in his office in Baghdad, on Friday, July 11, 2014, the Egyptian minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shukri who is currently visiting Iraq.
    The two sides discussed the political and security developments in Iraq, Egypt and the region in general. His eminence highlighted the need for everyone to join efforts in order to overcome the current crisis in Iraq and called on the political, religious, tribal and societal forces to assume their responsibilities.
