Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stresses the Need to Progress in Solving Difficult Problems and Issues Instead of Opting For Solutions That Cannot be Undone

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, assured that officials should not resort to solutions that are based on control, tyranny and despotism because the concept of management is subject to criteria related to the manager’s, official’s or administration’s job description, indicating that this means the opposite of what is required. His eminence indicated that the Holy Quran has drawn a clear picture of the way to treat these things by progressing in handling them until reaching the solutions that might be abusive of some positive rights in case the efforts of reform and correction were in vain.
This came at the sixteenth Ramadan evening gathering held at his eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Monday, July 14, 2014.
On another note, his eminence expressed his hope in seeing those who have taken the wrong path and attitude coming back to their senses. He highlighted the need to correct such behaviors that could make the people experience a change of values, thus making them see good deeds as bad acts, sins as favors. His eminence finally underlined that humans’ natural disposition is to be obedient and that everything that includes sins and rebellion is contradictory to this human nature.
