Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Praises the Stance of Persons with Special Needs and Their Answer to the Religious Authority’s Call

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Lebanon, praised the stance of persons with special needs and their answer to the religious authority’s call for defending the country and holy places, explaining that this stance is a mere expression of the Iraqis’ intrepidity and their awareness of the seriousness of the attack launched by Daesh on Iraq. His eminence assured that this stance raises the morale of combatants when they see persons with special needs in military uniform training on carrying weapons.
This came when his eminence received a group of persons with special needs in his office in Baghdad on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
His eminence highlighted that the true disability is the mental and intellectual one, which is embodied by Daesh in its ideas rejected by everyone. His eminence used as examples on this matter their latest fatwas on compulsory female circumcision, expressing his trust that terrorism cannot erase the values and culture of a people that dates back to thousands of years ago. He underlined that Iraqis will reach victory and called on everyone to stand against Daesh and its deviant thought.
