Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Importance of Taking Care of the Displaced People and Those Who Answer the Call of the Supreme Religious Authority
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of taking care of the displaced people and providing them with what they need, calling for embracing those who answer the call of the supreme religious authority to defend the nation and the citizens. This came in a meeting between his Eminence in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, August 10, 2014 and Mr. Majid al-Nasrawi. His Eminence discussed with the Governor of Basra Province how to supply Basra citizens with services and implement the project of the Citizen's Alliance according to the available resources, while praising the governor for providing Basra citizens with services although the public budget has not been passed yet. He also encouraged him to keep in contact with the people and to listen to their problems face to face.
