Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, assured that everyone realizes the exceptional circumstances in the country and the importance of opening a new page of real cooperation among Iraqis. His eminence indicated that everyone in the negotiating committees is stressing the need for real flexibility in forming a government based on a homogeneous team and a clear vision for running the country. He added that mutual and deep trust between the Iraqi political parties, as well as tolerance and role integration, represent a cornerstone for forming the coming government within the decided constitutional deadline, affirming that all Iraqi forces are supporting the prime minister in forming the government through nominating the competent, honest and experienced candidates.
This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim was meeting in his office in Baghdad the speaker of parliament Dr. Salim Al Jabouri, on the evening of Monday, August 18, 2014.
For his part, the speaker maintained that Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim has a mature vision regarding the formation of a government consisting of a homogeneous team able to build a State, preserve the constitution and the political process and protect human dignity. He finally expressed his hope in seeing the negotiations for forming the government end within the constitutional deadline.
