Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Receives the Delegation of Prince Tahseen, Leader of the Yazidis
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad on Saturday, September 6, 2014, the delegation of the Prince Tahseen Said, leader of the Yazidi community. During the meeting, they discussed the prince's letter to his Eminence concerning the situation of the Yazidis. His Eminence said it is essential to take care of this component and defend it and relieve the suffering of the displaced families. For his part, the delegation stated that they had a fruitful and thorough meeting with Sayyid al-Hakim, where they discussed how to free the Yazidi regions and form a brigade among the Yazidis to protect their lands.
