Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Receives the New Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, September 14, 2014, his Excellency the new ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq, Francis Baker. During the meeting were discussed the developed bilateral relations between the two friend countries and the ways to reinforce them so as to serve the interests of the two peoples. His eminence praised the support provided by the United Kingdom to Iraq in the humanitarian and military areas in its war on terrorism and as well as the assistance offered to Iraqi refugees. His eminence finally wished the new ambassador success in his diplomatic mission, to serve the bilateral interests in all areas.
