    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls on Kurd Ministers to Join their Ministries in Baghdad and Perform their National Duties in Building Iraq


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on the evening on Monday, September 22, 2014, the leaderships of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the city of Sulaymaniyah to which his eminence arrived coming from Erbil.
    During the meeting were discussed the developments in the country. His eminence stressed the need to ensure the presence of the governmental team of Kurdistan in the capital Baghdad as soon as possible so that it can carry out its ministerial mission alongside the other members of the new cabinet, in order to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people towards change and the provision of services and welfare to the citizens.
    The attendees also tackled the pending issues between the central government and the Kurdistan region, and highlighted the importance of overcoming the problems based on the law and the constitution and of maintaining the national solidarity, and the security and stability of the unified Iraq.
