Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said all the Iraqi political forces must cooperate to face the terrorism represented in the criminal ISIS, explaining that the international and regional support is an important chance to eradicate the group which constitutes now a threat to the entire international community.
This came during a meeting held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, in Sulaymaniyah, between Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and the head of the Kurdish Movement for Change (Gorran), Mr. Nawshirwan Mustapha. They discussed the relations between the centre and Kurdistan region where emphasis was put on the settlement of the problems between both sides in order to maintain the unity and stability of Iraq.
