In a Meeting with the Ambassador of Indonesia to Iraq, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Pushes for more Cooperation between both Countries in Different Fields

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received on Sunday, September 28, 2014, in his office in Baghdad, the ambassador of Indonesia to Iraq, Mr. Safzen Noerdin. Both sides have discussed the economic, cultural, touristic and religious relations between both countries. His Eminence, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, has expressed his concern for the Indonesian followers of Ahl al Bayt (AS) who are subject to evil takfiri media campaigns and whose freedom and security are compromised, saying he hopes that the Indonesian government works seriously to protect them, to guarantee that no harm is caused to them and to facilitate their travel to the holy places in Iraq and in other countries. For his part, Mr. Noerdin has undertaken to convey the message and the concern of his Eminence to his country's government, while hoping that the relations between both countries become more developed and prosperous in the best interest of both countries.
