Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Visits the Prophet Younis (AS) Compound for the Displaced People in Nahrawan and Admires the Endurance of its Citizens and their Love for Life
As part of the congratulation tours on the occasion of Eid al-Adha al Mubarak, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, visited the Prophet Younis (AS) Compound for the Displaced People in Nahrawan on Monday, October 6, 2014.
His Eminence said he was happy to see the signs of joy of this happy Eid on the faces of the displaced albeit the bitterness they feel for leaving their homes, adding that what upset the enemies the most is that our displaced people are still getting married and living their life so normally. He also stated that he listened to some administrative problems and needs, urging the officials to eliminate them and praising the quality of the services provided in this compound. Moreover, he called on the government and the Iraqi, Arab and world organizations of the international community to relieve the suffering of the displaced everywhere in our beloved Iraq.
