Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Receives Mr. al-Maliki and Discusses with Him the Political and Security Developments in the Country
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at his office in Baghdad, the vice-president of Iraq, Mr. Nouri al-Maliki.
During the meeting, they discussed the political process in Iraq following the formation of the government as well as the security situation in Iraq and in the region. For his part, his Eminence stressed the importance of making concerted efforts to find a way out of the current crisis.
