Patronizing the Conference of the Martyr of the Niche Graduates, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls to Engage the Youth in the Management of State Structures
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, called to provide work and start-up opportunities for youngsters by engaging them in the management of different structures of the Iraqi State. His eminence insisted that the youth are the country’s essential national revolution and that the country could make its way and overcome its crises through them, clarifying that the youth represent a vision, a behavior and a project. He added that Iraqis can overcome the difficulties and face the challenges thanks to the will and zeal of youngsters, pointing out that the latter are not just an age group but a behavior, an approach and a vision.
This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim was patronizing the 10th session of the annual conference for the graduates of the Martyr of the Niche movement held at his eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Saturday, October 18, 2014 under the title “The modern and fair State: education and work). The conference was attended by the faculty and a large number of graduate students.
His eminence stated that the pillars of success for the national project are trust in Allah and in one’s self, vision, planning and integrity, adding that a pure mind, heart and behavior make great achievements for the country and the people and that material capacities alone were not able to accomplish any achievements throughout history. He called on the youth to turn the challenges into real opportunities to move forward and succeed.
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim also stressed the need for a real stance to face the enemy with the power of weapons and to seek to achieve victory. He highlighted as well the need for a constructive and honest dialogue among all the national forces based on the rights and duties. His eminence underlined the importance of ensuring a state of tranquility and equity for everyone, insisting on having a serviceable government that achieves the ambitions of the people like welfare, prosperity and countering administrative and financial corruption.
Furthermore, his eminence indicated that the world has agreed today on the need to support the Iraqi people, the political process and the national unity government against ISIS, adding that this criminal group is no longer a danger to Iraqis only but also to the region and the entire world. He reminded that they had warned against this danger in many occasions months again, adding that they had said that the spark will reach anyone who contributes to its ignition. He also highlighted the need to eliminate ISIS and keep the broad regional and international support for Iraq.
Finally, his eminence explained that the Fatwa of the high authority about the need for hundreds of thousands of youth to get to the battle fields and get ready to sacrifice themselves for the country and the ideology, has increased the alertness and preparedness of Iraqi youth. He pointed out at last that the tragedy of the displaced and the support of the popular crowd and security forces have led to solidarity and social cohesion among all Iraqi citizens.
