Receiving the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: The Political Process is on the Right Track Towards Security and Political Stability
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, expressed his and the political leaderships’ optimism in view of the completion of the cabinet, pointing out that this will have a positive effect and will contribute to leading the country towards stability. This came during his eminence’s meeting with the German Ambassador to Iraq, Eckhard Preveza, in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
For his part, the German ambassador expressed his gladness for seeing the cabinet headed by Dr. Haydar Al Abadi completed, considering this a positive indicator that will contribute to the country’s stability and progress in facing the security challenges. His excellency also underlined his country’s support to the efforts made by the Iraqi government in its war against ISIS and in strengthening bilateral relations between the two friend countries at all levels.
