    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Calls to Intensify the Deliberations and Dialogues between the Iraqi Kurdistan and the Center in view of Eliminating the Obstacles and Addressing the Pending Problems between Both Sides

     
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the need to communicate and to intensify the deliberations and dialogues between the Iraqi Kurdistan and the Center in view of eliminating the obstacles and addressing the problems impeding the common interests and preventing improved relations between both sides. This came during a visit made by Sheikh Ali Baber, leader of the Kurdistan Islamic Group and the accompanying delegation to his Eminence on Monday October 20, 2014 in his office in Baghdad. Both parties also discussed the bilateral relations, the security issues, the common interests and other issues.
    For his part, the leader of the Kurdistan Islamic Group said the country needs figures that treat everybody equally, act with open mind and give attention to the serious issues, and these characteristics are embodied in his Eminence, adding that the focus in the meeting was brought to the hard period the country is going through now and the security repercussions not to mention how to fight terrorism and extremism of any kind, how to save the country from sectarianism and nationalism, how to make everybody act in solidarity and understand each other and how to overcome this current stage with minimal losses.
