Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, renewed his call to support the investment and the private sector to offset the decreased oil revenues due to the low prices and the loss of the export outlets, explaining that the investment and the private sector must be supported in ordinary circumstances, and this need is even more important in exceptional circumstances like those we are going through now. Here he called to decide on the electricity projects and to end this crisis that have disconcerted the citizens.
This came in a meeting held between his Eminence at his office in Baghdad on Monday, October 27, 2014 and the Minister of Electricity, Mr. Qassim al-Fahdawi.

For his part, Mr. al-Fardawi said he briefed Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim about the problems of the ministries and their requirements, calling on everyone to support the ministry since the ministry problem needs the support of the entire government and the political parties, pointing out to a plan intended to develop the electricity sector and requiring everyone's support.
