In the Third Evening of Muharram, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Says Nothing Bad Would Happen to this Nation as long as It Embraces the Culture of Martyrdom and Sacrifice

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said nothing bad would happen to this nation as long as it embraces the culture of martyrdom, sacrifice and generosity, explaining that the followers of Ahl-al-Bayt (AS) inherited the culture of martyrdom from Hussein (AS) and from the Prophet of Allah (PBUH). According to him, the companions of Hussein have strong self-confidence and are extremely courageous and the Iraqi people are proud of their youth who have been martyred while defending the country and the doctrine.
This came during the 3rd evening of Muharram held at his office in Baghdad on Monday, October 27, 2014.

His Eminence stressed the importance of submitting to the fate of Allah, saying perversion has no limits, yet it moves from the stage of performing perversion in public to that of killing anyone with different opinions. He also stated that the believers consider the signs of Allah with their insight, underlining the importance of drawing lessons from the history, warning against not taking these lessons into consideration. He added that Hussein represents a course, a thought, a culture and a conduct for all the followers of Hussein in this time. According to him, the logic of Islam is that of dialogue and the logic of murdering is the Yazidi Umayyad one.
