Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, called for promoting harmony and tolerance throughout the community, pointing to the necessity of the religious teachings that favor unity, patriotism and better relations between the components of the community, stressing the importance of making the Husseini project a slogan we seek to achieve.
This came during the 4th evening of Muharram held at the office of his Eminence on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
His Eminence called on the youth, in particular, to shy away from the sins-polluted environments, for according to him, faith is the weapon with which one faces the sins. He also maintained that the faith has levels and the commitment of the believers must be free of arrogance and vanity.
